William Angliss Institute’s Entertainment Operations students have partnered up with Infectious Entertainment to co-produce a major event,‘Pure Infection - Mexican Theme Party’.
The current crop of students are working on the main floor of the production, booking DJs and dancers, designing décor and promoting the event. The massive DJ line-up includes two current students, Daniel Dobson and Ming Vong playing under the stewardship of successful graduate Danny Romaz. Danny graduated in 2007 and has since found success as both an organiser and a DJ. He reflects, “It’s been a hard road to travel but the work is starting to pay off now.”
On the theatrical side of the production, Gemma Davidson and Ricky Hamilton booked two dancers from The Dance Factory for a main floor appearance. Infectious Entertainment Director David Cush is expecting a big night.
“We’re really looking forward to working with the students and also going on to help them with their careers after they graduate.”
The doors open for ‘Pure Infection - Mexican Theme Party’ at 10pm on Saturday 28 November at The Colonial Hotel - Corner Lonsdale & King St. Melbourne.
