Let’s get started with Sydney Virtual Open Day
Year after year, we're excited to show you our campus in full swing on Open Day, and this year we want you to experience the same without you having to leave your living room. Here's how to make sure you're making the most out of our virtual Open Day.
Where to start
Before you can explore our virtual platform, it's essential to register to receive your login details and any event updates on the day. If you've registered in advance, you'll receive an email the night before the event with login deets.
Once you log in, you'll arrive in our lobby. Start by heading to the Exhibition Hall, where you'll learn about the courses available at Angliss in 2021. Feeling a bit rebellious? Treat it like a choose your own adventure by heading to our masterclasses at the Auditorium. Really, you can start anywhere you'd like, and don't worry; we'll send you a notification when we have an exciting session coming up.
If you're feeling a bit lost, or have any questions or need recommendations, someone will be able to help in the lobby (just like on campus!) via the chat function.
Get informed
Do you know what you want to study next year? Not sure? The beauty of our virtual Open Day is you don't have to rush from one Information Session to another. You can start your day by watching some Information Sessions available in the Exhibition Hall. You can view and bookmark our course information to read over on the day or later - your choice! We recommend that you ask questions via our live chat option, or by jumping into a one-on-one zoom session at our course stands, these are great ways to get your questions quickly answered by Angliss staff and teachers.
What should I ask?
Whether it's on-campus or online, you can start thinking about what's important to you when it comes to your education - this will help you ask the right questions. Here's what you might want to find out about before embarking a journey with Angliss.
What type of study or mental health support are available for students? What social events do we run throughout the year? If your best way of learning is by doing, ask about the practical elements available in our courses. Think about what you want to learn, how you best learn, and what you want to achieve, and we'll point you in the right direction.
Can I do a campus tour?
Of course, it's important to know what facilities are available for you at Angliss. We can't welcome you onto campus en masse, so in the meantime, we're taking extra precautions by limiting our campus tours to online. However, we've prepared a comprehensive video of our facilities.
