Virtual celebration for Angliss graduates

William Angliss Institute recently held its first virtual graduation ceremony, commemorating 125 graduates across the speciality areas of foods, tourism, hospitality and events. Our graduates celebrated their recent achievements with more than 230 friends, family, and staff joining in live from around the world.

The ceremony is still available to watch on angliss.edu.au/graduation.

The Institute was particularly proud to welcome keynote alumni speaker, Calibre Feasts Director Nicholas Kalogeropoulos, who provided the graduands with both inspiration and practical advice.

"As young hospitality professionals moving into your bright futures you need to back yourselves at every opportunity," Mr Kalogeropoulos said.

The support and insights of the Institute's industry partners is incredibly important to provide graduates with training that is relevant to their needs.

Major industry partners such as Nestle Professional, Dilmah, Peerless Foods and Robot Coupe support the students throughout the year and many others enable the Institute to provide additional opportunities to recognise the development of skills and knowledge through sponsored awards.

William Angliss Institute CEO Nicholas Hunt said he was excited to celebrate the students' success at the Institute's first virtual graduation and paid tribute to the industry partners and sponsors who make such a vital contribution.
