Interviews
Our Certificate, Diploma, Advanced Diploma and some Degree courses require an interview before gaining entry into course.
Interviews are sometimes group interviews and are generally casual conversations with a staff member about why you have chosen to study at William Angliss Institute.
You are not required to prepare any answers or to dress formally for your interview. We’d just like to meet you and help you select the right course. Plus your interview is a great opportunity for you to also ask us questions about the Institute!
Your invitation to an interview will be sent to you after you have submitted your direct or VTAC application. Once you have registered for an interview, we will send you a reminder close to the date. If for some reason, you are unable to attend, simply let us know and we’ll happily reschedule.
Higher Education Applications
Applications for bachelor degrees at William Angliss Institute do not require applicants to complete any supplementary forms. Please ensure you supply evidence of your study and work history in your application.
Interviews are required for those applying for the Bachelor of Food Studies and the Bachelor of Food Studies (Community Engagement). You will be contacted after your application is received to arrange your interview. The purpose of this interview is to help us gain an understanding about why you have chosen to study the course that you have applied for and why you would like to work in the related industry.

Pre-Training Review Form (Certificates, Diplomas, Advanced Diplomas)
If you have applied for a certificate, diploma or advanced diploma at William Angliss Institute, you will need to submit a copy of the Pre-Training Review form when you attend your entrance interview. Please complete your form prior to your interview, and bring it along on the day. This purpose of this form is to help us understand a little more about your skills, interests and career goals.
