Virtual Open Day Guide
Year after year, we're excited to show you our campus in full swing on Open Day, and this year we want you to experience the same without you having to leave your living room. Here's how to make sure you're making the most out of our virtual Open Day.
Where to start
Before you can explore our virtual platform, it's essential to register to receive your login details and any event updates on the day. If you've registered in advance (we're sure you will have) you'll receive an email the night before the event with login deets, otherwise, you can register on the day.
Once you log in, you'll arrive in our lobby. Start by heading to the exhibition hall where you'll learn about the courses available at Angliss in 2021. Feeling a bit rebellious? Treat it like a choose your own adventure by heading to our masterclasses and industry panel chats over at the Auditorium. Really, you can start anywhere you'd like, and don't worry; we'll send you a notification when we have an exciting session coming up.
If you're feeling a bit lost, or have any questions or need recommendations, someone will be able to help in the lobby (just like on campus!) or via the chat function.
Do you know what you want to study next year? Not sure? The beauty of our virtual Open Day is you don't have to rush from one Information Session to another. You can start your day by watching some Information Sessions, available in the Exhibition Hall and download course information to read over later (available in Resource Hub or Exhibition Hall). You're welcome to schedule a meeting with one of our teachers for a one-on-one session where you can ask specific questions about the course. Know who you want to talk to? Pre-book now!
What should I ask?
Whether it's on-campus or online, you can start thinking about what's important to you when it comes to your education - this will help you ask the right questions. Here's what you might want to find out about before embarking a journey with Angliss.
What type of study or mental health support are available for students? What social events do we run throughout the year? If your best way of learning is by doing, ask about the practical elements available in our courses. Think about what you want to learn, how you best learn, and what you want to achieve, and we'll point you in the right direction.
Can I do a campus tour?
Of course, it's important to know what facilities are available for you at Angliss. In the meantime, we're taking extra precautions by limiting our campus tours to online. However, we've prepared a comprehensive video of our facilities. So whether you're studying to become a chef or a jet-setting flight attendant, see what you're in for in the Resource Hub.
Stay tuned for more event updates on our socials.
See you at Open Day!
