Information for Apprentices and Employers
William Angliss Institute has no confirmed cases of COVID-19, and apprenticeship training is continuing with an enhanced focus on social distancing.
We continue to follow the advice from the Department of Education and Training, and the Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS), to inform our actions and ensure the safe delivery of our educational services. Information on the measures we are taking is available here.
Are classes and training still on?
Yes, classes and training for apprentices are still scheduled on campus.
Do Angliss apprentices have to attend on-campus classes?
We ask that you make every effort to send your apprentice to Angliss as per their timetable, to meet the Individual Training Plans
Unwell apprentices
Please do not send apprentices to Angliss if they are unwell. They will need to seek medical advice. If your apprentice is concerned about their health and requires testing for COVID-19, please let us know by calling the Angliss student phone number on (03) 9606 2342.
What if testing confirms an apprentice has COVID-19?
Your apprentice should call the Angliss student phone number on (03) 9606 2342 to report the case and answer some basic questions about when the apprentice was last on campus. If your apprentice is unable to call, please call on their behalf.
Please also follow all of the required medical and self-isolation advice being provided at that stage.
All student details and personal information will be subject to privacy provisions.
Can new apprentices still enrol at Angliss?
Angliss continues to enrol and commence new apprentices.
