Bicycle racks are located in the courtyard area near La Trobe Street and outside Building E in Little Lonsdale Street. Bicycles should be securely locked. Bicycle parking outside of marked spaces is not permitted.

There is no parking available for students on campus.
There is a range of parking options around the city. View parking locations in Melbourne.

Students have access to approximately 110 computers and 4 iMacs in the Learning Resource Centre and can access a variety of applications via their desktop.

Computers in the Learning Resource Centre are intended for educational purposes. There is a computer booking system, which enables bookings of a computer up to 7 days ahead.

All currently enrolled students will be issued with an individual login account and password to access the computing facilities.

First aid care is provided by staff of William Angliss Institute qualified in First Aid Level 2. Contact Main Reception on (03) 9606 2111 or Security on (03) 9606 3704 when a first aid officer is required.

The Bakeshop

The Bakeshop is the place to go to for delicious products at bargain prices. Students from Bakery, Meat Processing, Cookery and Patisserie all prepare products which are available for sale at The Bakeshop.

It also has a range of sandwiches, salads, snacks and drinks.

The Angliss Bistro provides a relaxed atmosphere to enjoy lunch served up by cookery and hospitality students.

Angliss Restaurant

Angliss Restaurant provides a professional-standard training environment for our students and an affordable dining experience for guests. The food style offered at Angliss is a fusion of contemporary and classical influences. Guests will enjoy culinary delights from final year apprentice chefs and cookery students and impeccable fine dining service provided by hospitality students.

The Angliss Restaurant is also home to Angliss’s renowned Great Chefs program.

William Angliss Institute has a well equipped Learning Resource Centre (Library), find out more.

Lockers can be provided for students enrolled in Culinary Arts courses so they can change into their uniform. There are a limited number of lockers available to students. Students are required to provide their own lock.

The Medical Centre is located on Level 2 in Building C. It is open from 8am to 5pm, Monday to Friday, excluding public holidays.

The LRC has 3 Multi-Functional devices (MFDs) which will print in colour or black and white, and can also photocopy, scan, double side print, staple & hole punch documents.

The Lounge (Building C, Level 1) is for all students looking for a place to eat, meet and relax between classes.

The Balcony is an outdoor space situated right outside The Lounge with ample seating overviewing The Courtyard.

The Lounge Opening Hours:      


Monday - Friday              7.30am - 10.00pm


Saturday                           11.00am - 2.00pm

The Lounge facilities include:

  • Table tennis
  • Board games
  • TV with Foxtel
  • Vending machines
  • Basic kitchenette facilities including microwave ovens, sandwich press, hot and cold water.

The Lounge, The Balcony, BBQ equipment and trestle tables can be reserved for use for any student-led on campus events. Student Space & Equipment Booking Forms are available through Student Services, which must be submitted 7 days before the event day.


William Angliss Institute offers a range of support services for students ranging from careers and employment through to student events and even counselling.

myWireless is William Angliss Institute’s wireless network service, available to current students of the Institute.  Laptops and some mobile devices can be configured to access the wireless network.
