VDSS
VET Delivered to Secondary Students (VDSS) programs are a great way to get a head start in your chosen career, we offer both a Certificate II Hospitality and Certificate II Cookery for secondary school students. Qualifications that will help you to stay ahead of the curve, and be relevant in a future workforce.
The benefits of enrolling in a VDSS program:
- Gaining industry experience and employability skills
- Gaining a nationally recognised qualification
- Creating a pathway to further study (certificate, diploma qualifications) at TAFE
Programs are offered over one or two years, and contribute to your overall Victorian Certificate of Education (VCE) or VCE Vocation Major (VM). VDSS students are required to attend campus one day per week at our Melbourne CBD campus.

Auspicing
In VETDSS for Schools, an arrangement between a Secondary School and William Angliss Institute can be made, where the Secondary School delivers the WAI VETDSS program entirely. William Angliss Institute has the responsibility to provide resources including learner guides and all assessments, provide learning management system access, ongoing support and issuing of the awards.
Requirements of the auspice arrangements include, but not limited to, VETDSS Auspice delivery teacher(s) require current industry experience in the VET DSS program in which they teach, qualification in the industry, same level or higher and Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116).
