Nestle Golden Chefs Hat Scholarship (VIC)

The Nestlé Golden Chefs Hat Scholarship was established in recognition of Nestlé Professionals’ ongoing commitment to developing future leaders in the foodservices industry. The scholarship is awarded to domestic VET students (commencing or continuing) in the Commercial Cookery area. 


VALUE

Three annual scholarships of up to $4000 (AUD) each will be available to students in Semesters 1 and 2. This is awarded to support the students’ skill development, travel, living and other study related tools, resources or/and equipment expenses.

 

ELIGIBILITY

To be considered for this scholarship, you must:

  • Be an Australian citizen or permanent resident or hold a permanent Humanitarian Visa.
  • Be enrolled or intending to enrol full time or in an apprenticeship in any Commercial Cookery course at William Angliss Institute (Melbourne campus).
  • Fall into one of two categories;
    • Merit basis
      • Demonstrate academic excellence via results achieved during previous and current studies
    • Equity basis
      • Demonstrate financial and/or educational disadvantage. Include evidence that you;
        • have a disadvantaged financial background; or
        • are from, or are intending to move from, a rural or regional area
        • are an Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait islander; or
        • have disability, long-term medical illness or mental health condition or
        • experience difficult circumstances

 

APPLICATION

To apply, complete the online application form below and submit all supporting documentation. Only complete applications submitted before the relevant closing date will be considered. Attending a Scholarship Workshop (information session) is strongly recommended.

If you are applying for multiple scholarships, please note that you only need to complete the merit or equity application form once. The Scholarships Office will assess your application for your eligibility against relevant scholarships.

SELECTION

This scholarship is offered to all eligible applicants on the basis of Merit and/or Equity as indicated on this page.

 

OUTCOME

All applicants will be informed about the outcome within 10 weeks of the closing date.
