Skills Assessment Process

William Angliss offers “pre-assessment” service at no cost. In this process William Angliss Institute skills assessors review documentary evidence submitted with each application (e.g. training certificates/qualifications, resume, employment history) and assess the evidence against Australian qualification requirements to determine if the applicant should proceed to the next stage of the assessment.

Once the applicant passes the evidence assessment stage the individual is invited to a Technical Interview conducted in English. At the interview, the assessor asks questions to determine the applicant's knowledge and experience. Applicants are required to submit original documentary evidence as well as proof of identification to be sighted. Information provided may be used for data matching with other Australian Government agencies such as the Department of Industry, Department of Immigration and Citizenship and the Australian Taxation Office.
