Graduation success for Hotel School students

The Angliss International Hotel School students of the 2016 July intake celebrated their successes at the Valedictory Dinner on 16 June.

Ruey Chong received the Recognition of Excellence in Diploma of Hospitality Management and Ruby Larsen-Wallace received the Recognition of Excellence in Hotel Placement award.

Ruey received the Hospitality management criteria was based on the contribution to greater the Angliss community, all round academic excellence and connection to the hotel industry though placement and coursework.
 
Ruby conducted her placement at the Wyndham Hotel.  The award was based on excellence in hotel work placement and success in the placement project.

“The students had a fantastic time both during their studies and celebrating at Valedictory, and we are looking forward to their future milestones,” Angliss International Hotel School coordinator Sheena D-Souza said.

Graduate Lizzy Nguyen said it was a wonderful night to celebrate not only with our peers, but more importantly with our valued and friendly lecturers.
 
“The night was full of laughs, good food, friends, and awards. For many of us, it was our last chance to hang out as a group before we are separated from school, work and personal commitments. It was also perfect timing, as that week was massive for all of us considering our timetable, the amount of work, and the number of assessments due,” Lizzy said.
