William Angliss Institute patisserie graduate Connie Yuen has been leading the team at the first-ever permanent KITKAT CHOCOLATORY in Australia in Melbourne Central.
After previously working at the at the pop-up Nestlé KITKAT Studio pop-up store as head chocolatier Connie was asked back to head up the team of 12 kitchen employees and employ staff for the new store last year.
Connie said she was thrilled to be given the opportunity to manage and lead the kitchen. She has employed a number of graduates from William Angliss Institute including Madeleine Greenough, Grace Purnama and Khodijah (Dee) Alhabsyi.
“It has been such an exciting ride to be working with Nestlé again and to be given this opportunity. I knew what skills I was looking for in this team and feel really confident in them,” Connie said.
Previously working as an office manager, Connie studied the Certificate IV in Patisserie at William Angliss Institute to pursue her passion for baking.
The KITKAT CHOCOLATORY offers a premium chocolate experience where people purchase handcrafted chocolates and one-off flavour combinations.
Angliss graduates are enjoying using an ever changing range of delicious ingredients, to create delicious custom-made KITKAT bars.
