William Angliss Institute was highly commended in the Excellence in International Education – TAFE category at the 2016 Victorian International Education Awards ceremony at Government House on Monday 21 November.
Sixteen winners were presented with awards during the event, recognising outstanding achievements by international students and education providers in Victoria’s leading service industry export, International Education. International Education exports generate over $5.8 billion for Victoria each year.
The number of international students enrolled at William Angliss Institute continues to grow, with over 1700 students from 60 different countries enrolled over the year.
Manager, International Marketing, Bruce Bradfield said ‘maintaining a diversity of nationalities and cultures is priority for us in the recruitment of new students. The benefit of diversity to the Institute community and to the student learning experience cannot be underestimated.’
