Events students deliver community festival in style

Diploma of events students Jessica Maniatis, Alice Campbell, Andrew McCormick and Courtney  O’Sullivan, who formed the event project management group The Urban Trend,  worked alongside The Gowanbrae Residents Group to organise the 2016 Gowanbrae Festival.

Eco-gastronomy workshop to inspire and challenge

International expert on eco-gastronomy Dr David Szanto of Italy’s University of Gastronomic Sciences will lead this workshop entitled “Frameworks and Ecologies,” to explore perceptions and preconceptions about food systems, including how they influence our choices and actions.

Symposium of Gastronomy Comes to Angliss and University of Melbourne

The 21st Symposium of Australian Gastronomy will be held at William Angliss Institute and University of Melbourne from 2 to 5 December 2016, in collaboration with Sustain: the Australian Food Network. For the first time, this Symposium offers a special two-day ticket for busy hospitality professionals.
