Dress Code
Participants are advised to wear flat, enclosed, rubber soled shoes for comfort and safety. To ensure food safety procedures are followed, long hair should be tied back and all unnecessary jewellery removed.
Description
Every food business is required to have a food safety supervisor. This intensive one-day course includes visits to food operations sites as part of the assessment and provides supervisors in hospitality businesses with the required certification, 'Participate in safe food handling practices' (SITXFSA002), for the role of Food Safety Supervisor.
Please note: Food Handlers Course (SITXFSA001) is a compulsory prerequisite for this course. Copy of certificate/s containing the code SITXFSA001 are required as proof of previous training. Certificates without this code are not acceptable.
Please note: A good understanding of written and spoken English is required to undertake this course.
