The Work Health & Safety for Managers online course is comprised of 2 nationally recognised units of competency (SITXWHS003 – Implement and monitor work health and safety practices and BSBWHS506 – Contribute to developing, implementing and maintaining WHS management systems), and covers:
- The skills and knowledge required to implement those predetermined work health and safety practices designed, at management level, to ensure a safe workplace
- The ability to monitor safe work practices, coordinate consultative arrangements, risk assessments, work health and safety training and the maintenance of records;
- Contributing to the development, implementation and maintenance of elements of a work health and safety management system (WHSMS); and,
- The organisational responsibilities for contributing to tasks in relation to elements of a WHSMS appropriate to the nature and scale of the organisation and its work health and safety (WHS) risks.
Once the online course has been purchased, participants will be emailed an Enrolment Form. This Enrolment Form and all associated information contained within it must be completed. All information that is supplied is used for Government reporting purposes only as the purchased Short Course is made up of nationally accredited units.
Once all required paperwork is returned, you will be contacted by your Trainer and emailed a Username and Password to access the online Learning Management System in order to undertake your course.
Participants will have 3 months from the enrolment date online to complete the two units and upon successful completion of the online course, will receive a William Angliss statement of attainment.
PLEASE NOTE: The creation of user accounts is a manual operation and therefore takes place Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm.
