Medical Alliance Scholarship

The Medical Alliance Scholarship is awarded to domestic VET or Higher Education students (commencing or continuing) in any study area, based on equity.



Scholarships of up to $2,500 (AUD) each will be available to students in Semester 2 annually. This is awarded to support the students’ skill development, travel, living and other study related tools, resources or/and equipment expenses.



To be considered for this scholarship, you must:

  • Be an Australian citizen or permanent resident or hold a permanent Humanitarian Visa; and
  • Be enrolled or intending to enrol full-time or part-time in any Certificate III, Certificate IV, Diploma, Advanced Diploma, or Bachelor Degree course in any study area at William Angliss Institute (Melbourne campus).
  • Fall into this category:
    • Equity
      • Demonstrate financial and/or educational disadvantage. Include evidence that you;
        • have a disadvantaged financial background; or
        • are from, or are intending to move from, a rural or regional area; or
        • are an Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander; or
        • have a disability, long-term medical illness or mental health condition/s; or
        • experience difficult circumstances



You must complete the online application form and submit all supporting documentation. Only complete applications submitted before the relevant closing date will be considered.

If you are applying for multiple scholarships, please note that you only need to complete the merit or equity application form once. The Scholarships Office will assess your application for your eligibility against relevant scholarships.
