The Hostplus Indigenous Scholarship (VIC)

The Hostplus Indigenous Scholarship was established in recognition of Indigenous students who demonstrate excellence, passion and a love for the foods and/or hospitality industry. The scholarship is awarded to domestic Indigenous students (commencing or continuing) in the hospitality or foods areas.

 

VALUE

One annual scholarship of up to $2,500 (AUD) will be available to a student in Semester 1. This is awarded to support skill development, travel, living, and other study-related tools, resources and/or equipment.

 

ELIGIBILITY

To be considered for this scholarship, you must:

  • Be an Australian citizen or permanent resident or hold a permanent Humanitarian Visa
  • Be enrolled or intending to enrol full time in any Certificate III, Certificate IV, Diploma, Advanced Diploma or Bachelor Degree course in any study area at William Angliss Institute (Melbourne campus)
  • Be of Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander heritage

 

APPLICATION

You must complete the online application form and submit all supporting documentation. Only complete applications submitted before the relevant closing date will be considered.

If you are applying for multiple scholarships, please note that you only need to complete the merit or equity application form once. The Scholarships Office will assess your application for your eligibility against relevant scholarships.

This scholarship is offered to all eligible applicants on the basis of Merit and/or Equity as indicated on this page.

 

OUTCOME

All applicants will be informed about the outcome within 10 weeks of the closing date.
