The Diploma of Hospitality Management, delivered in partnership with AccorHotels Group, is a 12-month qualification that is perfect for those interested in working within the exciting field of hotel management. The program offers a combination of learning environments both on- and off-campus, and includes a nine-week industry placement at one of our partner AccorHotel's properties in Sydney.

The Advanced Diploma of Hospitality is available to students on completion of any Diploma from William Angliss Institute Sydney (Diploma of Hospitality Management with AccorHotels, Dual Diploma of Hospitality Management and Event Management or Diploma of Hospitality Management Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or Patisserie).

This qualification helps you consolidate your skills gained from the Diploma and further develops knowledge in a range of areas, with subjects including business planning, financial operations, human resources, marketing and more. On completion of the Advanced Diploma of Hospitality Management, you will have a wider range of employment opportunities available to you, and can also continue on to Bachelor degree programs at our Melbourne campus.

Learn a combination of skills that will set you up for a diverse career in the food and hospitality industry.

By combining a Certificate III in Commercial Cookery with a Diploma of Hospitality Management, you will be trained in a range of functions within a food service venue. You will learn to make coffee, serve drinks, budget, coordinate operational activities and other key hospitality skills, as well as gaining essential cookery abilities including knife techniques, cooking main meals, desserts and more.

Connect with industry through excursions to key Sydney venues, and make the most of the in-house Waterloo Dining training restaurant which gives you real-life experience in a live restaurant environment.

Combining a Diploma of Hospitality Management with a Certificate III in Patisserie allows you to broaden your focus, and strengthens key industry skills required both in Australia and internationally.

The hospitality component of the course will teach you food and beverage service, finance and budgeting, operational planning and more, while the patisserie component will have students learning to create sweets including decorating cakes, creating petit fours and producing plated desserts.

William Angliss Institute's Certificate IV in Commercial Cookery is designed to prepare you for a career as a professional chef by developing fundamental skills and knowledge across the range of cookery techniques and practices.

Learning in our state-of-the-art facilities, you will undertake subjects that include knife skills, preparing meat, poultry, soups, desserts and more, as well as more business-focused subjects, which helps graduates gain roles in leadership positions.

Studying a Certificate IV in Patisserie at William Angliss Institute, you will learn to make pastries, desserts, gateaux, petits fours, and cover areas such as cake decorating and sugar and chocolate decorative work. These fundamental skills will give you a great start in the industry.

In just one year, complete a Dual Diploma that will broaden and strengthen your skill set to meet key industry needs. This Dual Diploma in Events and Hospitality gives you the opportunity to learn how to plan, fund, market and manage successful events, along with learning key hospitality service skills. The two Diplomas are delivered concurrently, helping you to gain a strong understanding of the events and hospitality industries.
