How to Apply - Degree and Coursework Masters

Here's the information you need to get started with your degree application as a local student. Application for most courses can be completed via a simple online process.

Applying for a degree program

1. Choose your Experience

Browse our wide selection of degrees at both bachelor and postgraduate level. When you find the course you want, click to apply.

Some of our degrees are only available at the Melbourne campus, and some courses have different durations, so make sure you check the details when you search.

2. Submit your Application

This online process should take less than 20 minutes. Submitting your application is your formal expression of interest in commencing at Angliss and is essential for us to be able to assess your application.

There are several documents that you need to upload as part of the application process, including:

  • evidence of Citizenship/Residency
  • your resume
  • evidence of completion of previous qualifications
  • results from current or prior study/training

VTAC: For Year 12 students and/or applicants seeking to apply for multiple courses at different providers for the February intake, you can submit your application to study at Angliss through the VTAC application system.

3. Wait to hear from us

Once you've submitted your application, we will assess your suitability for the course and notify you of the outcome within 2-3 weeks. We will contact you if we need any further details to support your application or to arrange an interview.

VTAC: If you applied through VTAC, they will send you your offer on the specified VTAC offer round dates.

Recognition of prior learning (RPL)

Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL), also known as Skills Recognition and credit transfer - evaluates and formally recognises the skills and knowledge you have gained from work experience, work-based training, life experience and study.

Applying for RPL can reduce the duration of your study, making it a faster path to gain your formal qualifications.

Find out more about RPL for degree courses at our Policies page.
