About William Angliss Institute Global Skills Recognition and Trades Mobility Team
Who We Are
William Angliss Institute is Australia’s leading specialist educator in foods, tourism, hospitality and events, with over 85 years of excellence. Since 2009, we have been formally authorised by Trades Recognition Australia (TRA) as a Registered Training Organisation (RTO) to deliver high-integrity skills assessments for migration.
We are the official assessing body for Baker [351111], Chef [351311], Cook [351411], and the only authorised assessing body for Pastrycook [351112] in Australia. We conduct skills assessments under the Temporary Skills Shortage (TSS) and Offshore Skills Assessment Program (OSAP).
We support both onshore applicants in Australia and offshore applicants worldwide to prove they can work at the required Australian trade level in commercial kitchens and bakeries.
Our assessors are practising industry professionals with deep, hands-on experience. They bring a thorough understanding of Australian commercial standards, FSANZ food safety requirements, and both Western and Asian culinary practices. We are committed to a fair, transparent, and supportive assessment process that truly recognises genuine trade skills.
