Careers & Opportunities
Sometimes the step between study and employment can be challenging. Whether you're looking for casual work while you study or preparing to apply for full-time employment, the right advice and training can prepare you for your next job.
Recognising the need for career skills and support for job-seekers, Angliss provides advice, regular workshops and free resources.
You can drop in or book an appointment with our Careers Coordinator to have your resume or cover letter checked, practice for interviews and discuss your career goals.
Take a workshop and get job-ready
Careers workshops are a regular feature of the Angliss student calendar, delivering practical skills you can put into practice now and when you graduate. Workshops include:
- Resume writing
- Interview skills
- Networking skills
Angliss hosts a range of on-campus events for you to meet with your future employers. Attend an information session, recruitment drive or speed networking night.
A range of resources and fact sheets are available on searching for work, volunteer rights and responsibilities, applying for jobs (resumes, cover letters and samples) and preparing for interviews. Access hard copies at the Student Lounge or online via CareerHub.
