TRA Fees & Payment
All fees for skills assessments are paid directly to Trades Recognition Australia (TRA). William Angliss Institute does not charge any additional assessment fees.
Main Assessment Fees
Pathway 1 (Stream C) – No Relevant Australian Qualification
- Documentary Evidence Assessment: AUD $1,120
- Technical Interview: AUD $2,000
- Total: AUD $3,120
Pathway 2 (Stream B) – With Relevant Australian Qualification
- Documentary Evidence Assessment: AUD $1,120
- Technical Interview: AUD $900
- Total: AUD $2,020
Review & Reassessment Fees

Payment Information
The fees that TRA charges for skills assessments are specified in the legislative instrument made under sub regulation 5.40 (1) of the Migration Regulations 1994.
Payment must be made when you complete the online registration and may only be made using a Visa or MasterCard credit/debit card through the TRA online portal. All fees are payable in Australian dollars. Instructions on how to pay online will be provided when you apply.
After payment, a printable receipt will be displayed on your screen, and a copy will be sent to the email address nominated in your registration. Please retain the email receipt as evidence of payment.
Important Notes
- Review applications must usually be lodged within 7 business days of receiving the outcome.
- Reassessment is available within 12 months if you have gained additional skills or evidence.
- Refund policy: Review fees may be refunded if the original outcome is overturned based solely on the original evidence.
