Angliss invites you to Catch-Up on Open Day

Angliss had more than 720 participants join us for our virtual Open Day on 14 August from across Melbourne and Sydney to find out more about pursuing their passion to work in the experience industries of foods, hospitality, tourism and events.

If you missed it or couldn’t watch all the sessions you wanted on the day, we have all of our Open Day sessions recorded so you can watch them back at your own pace.

Our Keynote Speakers - Frank Camorra (MoVida) and Guy Grossi (Grossi Florentino) shared many insights about their careers, pivoting during the pandemic, working in the industry, what employers look for and how the future is shaping up.

We invited experts behind ContikiParks VictoriaWorksmithYoung Tourism Network and The Ascott Limited and many more to share insights about the industry and how to start building a thriving career. The Industry Panel Discussions featured experts talking about their varied career journeys and how to overcome challenges as well as the importance of training.

Another reason you won’t want to miss our Open Day Catch-up TV, is the list of exclusive masterclasses led by industry experts. We were joined by Luke Whearty, the master mixologist behind one of the World’s Best Bars, Byrdi to show us the secret behind the best cocktails. Once you’ve fixed up a drink for yourself, you can sit back and enjoy our Cooking with Native Ingredients Masterclass with Angliss Alum Sam May, who recently guest-starred in the ABC’s Gardening Australia.
