They will explore personal branding by reflecting on their strengths, values, and identity, and they will practise creating an effective elevator pitch.
Teachers will also support students in learning how to answer motivational, personality, and behavioural interview questions using the STAR method, while helping them build a “situation bank” of real-life examples they can draw on.
Finally, students will learn how to ask thoughtful questions at the end of an interview, helping them demonstrate confidence, professionalism, and genuine interest in the role.
Students will learn how to confidently respond to a wide range of emergency situations by following the DRSABCD action plan, including how to assess danger, check responsiveness, call for help, clear the airway, assess breathing, and place a patient in the recovery position.
They will be trained in lifesaving skills such as CPR for adults, children, and infants, and how to use a defibrillator safely. Students will also learn how to manage choking, severe bleeding, shock, burns, fractures, medical emergencies such as asthma attacks, allergic reactions, diabetes episodes, seizures, and strokes, as well as how to recognise symptoms and provide appropriate first aid until professional help arrives.
