It is recommended that participants wear soft soled flat, enclosed, shoes and clean comfortable clothing. Long hair should be tied up.
Description
William Angliss Institute is offering a specialised program designed to equip participants with essential compliance skills and foundational knowledge required for employment in the hospitality industry.
This program provides introductory training in food and beverage service, basic coffee‑making skills, and the Food Handler certification required for many hospitality roles.
Participants will engage in practical, hands‑on activities and develop key skill sets across bar, café, and restaurant environments. The program combines practical experience with the theoretical knowledge needed for future work in the hospitality sector.
The program includes:
- Food Handlers (Hospitality Sector) SITXFSA005
- ABC of Espresso Making
- Food and Beverage Service
Upon successful completion, participants will receive the following certifications:
- Food Handlers – Hospitality Sector accredited certificate (SITXFSA005)
- ABC of Espresso - digital certificate of participation
- Food and Beverage Service - Digital certificate of participation
Our on‑campus café is open for participants to purchase coffee, snacks, and lunch throughout the program.
