Intrepid Travel Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Scholarship (NSW/VIC)

The Intrepid Travel Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Scholarship (VIC/NSW) is awarded to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students commencing or continuing in Tourism, based on equity.



One scholarship of up to $3,000 (AUD) will be available to students in Semesters 1. This is awarded to support the students' skill development, travel, living and other study related tools, resources or/and equipment expenses.



To be considered for this scholarship, you must:

  • Be of Aboriginal or Torres Strait Island heritage.
  • Be an Australian citizen or permanent resident or hold a valid student visa or permanent Humanitarian Visa.
  • Be commencing or intending to enrol full time or part time in any tourism course at the William Angliss Institute (Melbourne or Sydney campus).
  • Demonstrate your Aboriginal or Torres Islander origin. Include evidence of a Confirmation of Aboriginality form completed in consultation with the Institute's Koori Liaison Officer.



To apply, complete the online application form below and submit all supporting documentation. Only complete applications submitted before the relevant closing date will be considered. Attending a Scholarship Workshop (information session) is strongly recommended.

If you are applying for multiple scholarships, please note that you only need to complete the merit or equity application form once. The Scholarships Office will assess your application for your eligibility against relevant scholarships.
