To Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people of all ages WOMINJEKA - WELCOME to William Angliss Institute.  With our growing National Partnerships there has never been a better opportunity for Indigenous learners to join our various pre-employment programs, traineeships and apprenticeships offered in Victoria, Central Australia and Far North Queensland.

Charcoal Lane

Charcoal Lane is a social enterprise started by Mission Australia and operates as well as a quality restaurant located in Fitzroy which provides work experience, hospitality training and a supportive environment to enable Aboriginal learners to transition to mainstream employment. William Angliss Institute works closely with Charcoal Lane to provide the financial and training support and link young people to the opportunities available at Charcoal Lane.  For more information please visit http://www.charcoallane.com.au/

National Indigenous Culinary Institute

Chefs from Sydney and Melbourne's top restaurants have combined forces and partnered with William Angliss Institute to provide Indigenous Australians with training and experience to build a career as a chef. Participants combine formal skills gained at William Angliss Institute with on-the-job mentoring and training with top chefs including Neil Perry, Matt Moran and Guillaume Brahimi.
Ten Trainee Chefs are then selected through a four week competitive selection process. Successful applicants continue on to the Trainee Chef program. For more information please visit http://nici.org.au/

Voyages Indigenous Tourism Australia

Voyages Indigenous Tourism Australia has managed various resorts on behalf of the Indigenous Land Corporation (ILC). Voyages offers experience-based holidays in spectacular wilderness locations including Ayers Rock Resort in the iconic Red Centre, Home Valley Station in the Kimberley region of Western Australia, and tourism facilities at Mossman Gorge in tropical Queensland.  For more information visit https://www.voyages.com.au/

AyeRs Rock Resort

The Indigenous Traineeship Program has been a major contributor to Voyages vision towards fifty percent Indigenous employment by 2018. Employing 100 Indigenous trainees at the resort each year this is your chance to apply and begin a rewarding career in the hospitality and tourism industry in Central Australia.  You can successfully complete a 9-12 month Certificate III qualification in hospitality or tourism, graduate and be guaranteed a full time job. Home Valley Station

Home Valley Station is located on 3.5 million acres on the famous Gibb River Road in the east Kimberley region of Western Australia. For 6 months it is a hub of activity that caters not only for travellers of the Gibb River Road, but also for Indigenous trainees positioned at Ayers Rock Resort who can apply to work at the remote station for 6 months of the year. Mossman Gorge Centre

Mossman Gorge Is located 77km north of Cairns, 20km north of Port Douglas and about 2km from the township of Mossman. It is yet another World Heritage listed landscape, a protected rainforest environment where Indigenous jobs and training opportunities create this world class eco-tourism visitor and interpretive centre at the entrance to the iconic Mossman Gorge.
