Baking students at William Angliss Institute learn time-honoured skills in baking bread, pastry production and cake making while earning a qualification recognised all over the world. On completion students will have a choice of careers from working in bakeries and cake shops to even owning their own business.

Students learn commercial styles of baking along with true artisan style breads using sourdough, wood firing and tandoori. Students who choose a pastry specialisation will undertake training in the new dessert style of cake making, royal icing decorating, chocolate work and pastry production.

We offer government-supported places for our complete suite of Victorian baking courses.

The flexible program allows you to change to an apprenticeship model if you begin employment in industry during your course.
